Limbaugh's talk radio show recently, he made several remarks on
the subject of press coverage in Iraq that have mostly escaped
notice, writes Editor and Publisher. Rumsfeld said that "the
terrorists, Zarqawi and bin Laden and Zawahiri, those people have
media committees. They are actively out there trying to manipulate
the press in the United States. ... They're much better at
(laughing) managing those kinds of things than we are."

Hwar, har, har har!!!! Well, maybe they are better at it than you, Rummy.

So, the war in Iraq is to build a model democracy, like we did in WWII???

Stupid and ignorant.

WWII was not fought to bring democracy to Europe; it was to destroy the Nazi regime.

Democracy was uncertain, and Germans rebuilt their own economy. Japan was a different case altogether.

I am sick of people comparing the War of Terror to WWII, harkening back to the 40's as the Good Old Days of Flag Waving-Mass Sacrifice of Our Youth-Internment. Apples and oranges, people. Apples and donkeys, actually.

It's not only illegals that object to REAL ID.

Should illegal immigrants take a driver's test if they are driving in the US? 11 states say yes. Not allowing licenses will encourage hit-and-run behavior. But, any illegal pulled over in the other states has another crime against them, increasing odds of deportation. The more laws made against illegals, the more they are automotically made criminals (beyond the border transgression).
