Because he lied to us, which is an impeachable offense, as you might remember from Clinton and Nixon. There is a movement on the Hill now to investigate the President, based on the Downing Street Memo, an investigation which could easily lead to impeachment charges. This is a real letter from US Representative John Conyers, with over half a million citizen signatures already and growing, to be delivered mid-June. I know nobody reads this, but in case anyone stumbles in by accident, SIGN NOW TO INVESTIGATE BUSH.

Whether or not you agree with the neocon vision of setting up a lab for democracy in the middle east- I personally think cultivating democracy in that region is a fine idea, despite being inherently ethnocentric and arrogant, our culture of corruption hidden under the veneer of voter choice beats a culture of brazen corruption any day- but THE WAY THESE IDIOTS WENT ABOUT IT has caused the avoidable deaths of too many good people. And lying to the Congress and the American people is wrong no matter what the purpose.
